HOW IT WORKS
Your personal branding photoshoot starts long before shoot day.
ASCEND is a creative, collaborative experience designed around you, your story and the brand you’re building. I’ll guide you through every step — from choosing the right experience and developing your concept to creating the final images.
Here’s how it unfolds.
1. CONNECT
It starts with a conversationIt all starts with a discovery call.
We’ll talk about you, your business, where you are now and what you’re looking to create. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work and decide whether we’re the right fit to bring your vision to life.
From there, we’ll work out which ASCEND experience — RISE or REVEAL — makes the most sense for what you want to achieve.
Once you’ve chosen your experience, we’ll lock in your package and shoot date.
A 30% deposit secures your booking, and then the really fun part begins.
2. DISCOVER
It starts with youOnce your date is secured, you’ll complete my personal branding questionnaire.
This is where we go deeper into your story: your personality, values, audience, goals, what you’re building and what you want your images to communicate.
We’ll look beyond what you do and explore who you are within it.
I’ll use everything you share to start finding the story at the heart of your brand.
3. DREAM
Your story becomes a visionThis is where the creative magic starts.
I’ll take everything we’ve uncovered and develop one overarching concept for your shoot.
From there, we’ll explore how that story can come to life through different visual expressions: from mood and colour to lighting, locations, styling, props and personal brand objects.
I’ll create a bespoke moodboard and creative direction so you can see the vision taking shape before we ever pick up the camera.
You’ll receive:
- A curated Vision Board with styling, pose, and mood references
- Guidance on outfits and shoot prep
- Hair and makeup artist recommendations if you want glam support

4. CREATE
Then we bring it to lifeThis is where the magic happens — where you claim space, show up fully, and let yourself be seen.
Whether we’re working in a studio, your workplace, outdoors or across multiple locations, I’ll guide you through the entire experience so you feel relaxed, powerful, and totally seen. I understand how daunting being in front of the camera can be, but you have nothing to worry – I’ll guide you through poses that flatter you and showcase your best self.
We’ll structure the session so it flows. Depending on your package, we’ll shoot 2 to 5 different looks — this could include outfit changes, background setups, and lighting shifts.
We’ll start by reviewing our Vision Board and structure the day comencing with the must-haves (your brand and portfolio staples), and build up to the most creative, editorial moments of the day. As we shoot, we’ll review the images to be sure we’re capturing your magic at its best and selecting our favourite ones!
My purpose is to reveal the magic within you, your inner Superpower — and turn it into fierce visuals.
And yes, we’ll capture some BTS content along the way.
5. REVEAL
This is where you see the magicOnce we wrap the shoot, you’ll get a gallery of unretouched proofs to explore. Want to see everything? Or do you prefer a tight, curated set? Either way, I’ll tailor it to your style.
You will also have the opportunity to give feedback on the edits to ensure you are in love with the result.
Final delivery within 2 weeks includes:
- High-resolution images for print
- Web-optimised versions for socials
The number of photos depends on your package — and yes, you can always add more.
You’ll receive a considered collection of photographs that feel cohesive, distinctive and completely yours ready to bring your personal brand to life across your website, social media, marketing, launches and whatever comes next.
